Elisabeth Prügl

Elisabeth Prügl (she/her) is Professor of International Relations and Political Science at the Geneva Graduate Institute. Her research focuses on feminist International Relations and gender politics in international governance. Current projects center on gendered practices of social reproduction and survival in a context of violence, in particular the war in Ukraine. Prügl is the founding director of the Institute’s Gender Centre and directs the Institute’s Masters track on Gender, Race and Diversity. She is recipient of the Eminent Scholar Award of the Feminist Theory and Gender Studies Section (FTGS) of the International Studies Association (ISA). Since January 2022, she is co-editor of the International Feminist Journal of Politics.
